LIVING IN THE WORLD OF WEIRD GOLDFISH

Cynthia Mak's second project, 2.0, “Living in the world of weird goldfish”, is based on her strange love of quirky and weird-looking goldfish. Each one has its own unique odd-looking feature – none are perfect, but at the same time, they are all very eye-catching and beautiful in their own way.

 Cynthia sees the world as a big pond: like goldfishes, we’re all swimming on our own journey through life, sometimes directionless, sometimes finding wonderful new things. We also encounter many other goldfish on the way. Some you may forget in seconds, but many will swim along with you and support you in your challenges.

 Like the looks of the goldfish, no one is perfect, but we’re all distinctive and beautiful in our own ways. Cynthia wants this colourful series to bring a smile to viewers’ faces and remind us to embrace each person’s uniqueness, to love the people who care for us and to live a colourful life in our big goldfish pond.
