For Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong, Cynthia is not only showing her new paintings of geometric characters; she has also challenged herself to create the characters as 3D sculptures. Two other HK artists are collaborating on the project: Screw Up Studio, which specialises in woodwork, and KC Wong in glasswork. The 3D characters are made and assembled from geometric shapes cut out of wood and glass and set off by the artist’s signature bold colours. So, for the first time, viewers will be able to admire Cynthia’s characters from all angles!
